Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
