Ukraine's energy systems have come under increased strikes in the past few days

Overnight, Moscow's aerial assaults have led to electricity outages in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

Several individuals were injured while local people in eastern districts were plunged into darkness and faced disruption to drinking water, as stated by local authorities.

At the same time, a young boy was lost their life in a separate assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the country's south-east, according to area administrators.

Moscow has intensified attacks on power infrastructure over recent weeks, while the country's government has demanded "concrete actions" from partner nations to exert influence on Russia.

He said that numerous aerial vehicles and more than 30 missiles attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, describing such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "essential services" as the weather cools.

Energy officials said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and maintenance teams were laboring to repair systems.

Five out of the nine people injured in the attacks on the capital have been transported for medical care, per statements from city authorities.
